Rhys... The story so far.
Rhys was born on the 21st of September 1998 at
0332 AM at the Rankin Memorial ward. The fact that he was born at
that time means he started of as he intended to continue and
deprived me of sleep. I choose the name Rhys because of it's
unusual spelling. Rhys is a welsh name and it means ardour, fiery,
impetus, zealous.
For a while I was beginning to think Rhys was
homesick for the hospital, because he became very accident prone.
In total he has had 2 falls requiring x-rays and stitches, but he
is none the worst for his misadventures. He was born with a heart murmur
and this was not discovered until he was about nine months old. It
was not serious but he required routine checkups to monitor his
progress. I am now pleased to say all is well just now.
He attends nursery and fits in well with other
kids and has made lots of new friends. He loves going to nursery
and has won prizes for his paintings. I think he will grow up to
be an artist. Unfortunately he does not have great taste for the
musical arts. His favourite musician is "Bob the
builder" (enough said).
Rhys enjoys spending time with his Granda Who luckily
lives on the same street and spoils him rotten. Rhys is his only
grandchild and I have no plans on giving him any more.
Rhys's top quotes.
