| The world famous Blackpool tower. Based on
the same design of the Eiffel tower Paris. |
I was pretty impressed by the arcades on the
golden mile, although judging by my sore feet I think they underestimated. |
Rhys at the top of the Blackpool tower, at
least he isn't scared of heights. He must have had a good "up"
bringing! |
Blackpool is one of the few places left that
use "horse and cart" as a mode of public transport. |

| The big parrot that is part of the logo for
Coral Island amusement arcade on the promenade. |
A view taken from near the tower looking
towards the Central pier with the Big Wheel "wagon wheels" in
the distance. |
Don't look down. This picture is taken
through a glass section of floor at the top of the Blackpool tower. The
tower is just over 518ft and construction was completed in 1894. |
Rhys enjoying a tour of Blackpool on an open
top bus during a nice sunny day. The tour went from the tower to the
zoo. We then went for something to eat. |

| My "big" sister Catherine and rhys
posing for a picture on the tour bus. |
Once again my sister and rhys chilling out
after a hard days sight seeing. |
ME! and Rhys crashed out after what
seamed like a long hard day. Blackpool is a very tiring place when you
walk about. |
Once again a picture of my sister this time
taken at the model village near Stanley park. |

| Rhys takes a stroll between the tiny houses
and buildings that make up the impressive miniature village. |
BLACKPOOL MODEL VILLAGE & GARDENS
Is an enchanting attraction, set in two and a half acres of beautiful
gardens, situated on the edge of Stanley Park. |
2 guys with snakes offering pictures for sale
where you get your picture taken holding a snake. Not my idea of fun but
each to their own. |
An alternative view of the tower taken from
the tour bus as it headed away from the centre of Blackpool |
