The Lake District The lake District is the ideal walking country with scenic views at every turn. The hills are the highest in England and because they are packed into such a relatively small area make them seem very grand indeed. The green valleys, steep hills and large expanses of water provides a photographers dream and given half decent light you cannot fail but to come back with some outstanding scenic views.
