Nick used to be a software engineer, and it would appear that although you can take the man out of programming, you can't necessarily take programming out of the man.

The following items of freeware for PalmOS based machines are offered unsupported and un-guaranteed. If you have any suggestions or problems with them please let me know at Software@NickWebb.biz, I will reply, but may not take any suggested action - this is a hobby for me not a business.

Battleship Blue

A game of battleships for two to play via Bluetooth. You will need a colour screen to use this sensibly.

Temperament

Tuning for early musicians - though late ones can just stick to equal temperament at 440hz if they wish. You will of course need a machine with sound to get any real value out of this. ;-)

Version 1.1

Improved Icons.

Woody

A collection of utilities mainly aimed at workers in wood, though anyone with the need to calculate compound mitre angles might find it useful. Also contains stuff relevant to the WoodRat router machine.

Version 2.0

Changed user interface layout. Added Conversion functionality to convert between Imperial and Metric measures (well some of them), and calculate prices for volumes of timber.

Known problems with low resolution and mono displays. Watch this space.

Legacy - Magnate Router Profiles for SketchUp

Not strictly software, more data. SketchUp components giving the profiles of the Magnate router bits for the Legacy Ornamental Mills. Unzip this file into the Components directory of your SketchUp installation folder and then add the top level folder to you favourites in the Components window. If you would like to be kept informed of updates/corrections, or would like to add profiles or corrections, please e-mail me.

LookOut

Withdrawn pending further development.

HB++

The above software is written using HB++ from Peter Holmes consulting. Not only is it great software - it's free!
