Prices:
Lessons
start from £18 per hour!
Lessons are a minimum 1 hour duration (2 hour for motorway tuition) with 1/2
hour increments to suit you.
Pass
Plus £120
Pass Plus is a training course specifically aimed at new drivers, designed by
the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving
instruction industry. Pass Plus will build upon your existing skills and knowledge,
it will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards,
and can help you to become more confident on the roads Pass Plus is made up
of six practical modules which include:
driving in town
driving in all weathers
driving on rural roads
driving at night
driving on dual carriageways
driving on motorways
Anyone who holds a full UK licence is eligible to take part in the scheme. You
will not have to take a test at the end of the course but you will be continually
assessed. You must successfully complete all the modules in the course to an
achieved or exceeded standard.
All
lessons use my driver's record sheet to track your progress.
Trailer lessons: £30 per hour.
Weekly
Lessons
"Pay as you go" lessons. Take one or more hours with 1/2 hour increments
at a time to suit you on a weekly basis or a couple of lessons per week. It's
up to you and your budget. You can even block book ten hours at a time for a
discount.
Refresher
Lessons
If you passed your test some time
ago but didn't put your new skills to use straight away, or perhaps you need
a confidence boost to deal with today's busy roads, these lessons will be 'right
up your street'. Take as many or as few as you need. The lessons would
be taken using my tuition car.
Semi-intensive
Pass Course*
This course is made up of 30 approx. hours (dependant on ability) one to one
in-car training (including 2 hours for attending the driving test) plus home
study of around 10 hours. Ideal for those who may not otherwise find time for
weekly lessons. The training is spread over two or more weeks. This is a really
popular and successful form of intensive training designed for people who want
to pass their test quickly but at a comfortable pace.
Midway
Pass Course*
For those who have already learnt the basic control skills of driving, this
course involves 20 approx. hours (dependant on ability) one to one instruction
(including 2 hours for attending the driving test). Added to your home study
the total duration of this course is around 28 hours.
Test
Booster Course*
Perfect for those who are nearly test standard and just need a short burst of
lessons prior to their test. It is also ideal for those who have had an attempt
at the test some time ago but haven't had any lessons since. The in-car training
is approx. 15 hours one to one (including 2 hours for attending the driving
test). The total duration of the course is around 21 hours including your home
study.
Motorway
Lessons
During your driving lessons and before passing your test you were not allowed
to drive on a motorway. Your first time can be a scary experience. Why not let
me help you make it a safe and enjoyable one? Each lesson is of a minimum two
hour duration and would be taken using my tuition car.
Trailer
Lessons
If you have never towed before, need to pass a test, or run a commercial fleet
of trailers you should be looking for a professional course for every driver.
If you're looking to tow a caravan, trailer, machinery or plant, boats or a
horse box I can provide all the neccessary training. The course covers all aspects
of trailer towing, law, coupling/uncoupling, loading, reversing and safe handling.

* Please note - for courses marked with an asterisk only: You will be required to complete a two hour assessment lesson before you agree to undertake the training. This is to determine your suitability for your chosen course.
On these courses, you would usually need to pass the theory test before your required course start date. A practical driving test cannot be booked until you have passed your theory test.
