If Oratory is your scene, then you must not miss the Springtime performances to be heard at the Birkenhead High School for Girls under the auspices of the Wirral Festival Committee.

Performers of all ages clear their throats and present their well practised pieces before an appreciative audience and under the guidance of carefully selected and authoritative adjudicators to guide and encourage, and of course to present the well earned Trophy to the class winner.

You will see that classes range from recitations by younger entrants, to dramatic interpretations in appropriate costume on the stage and larger groups compete for a Trophy for Choral verse.
