We fly Radio Control model planes from our airstrip
in a peaceful meadow at Raby Hall Farm on the Wirral Peninsula.

BMFA Aerojet, chuck glider
This is the BMFA Aerojet glider we recently introduced to the pupils
of The Terra Nova School in Cheshire.
You can read all about their introduction to aerodynamics,
as described in the October edition of BMFA News,
by downloading our .pdf report.

We look forward to some spectacular ( hitherto impossible) aerobatics
from Phil's new Squall EDF/Vectored Thrust model.

I see that Dyson Research Labs have invented a bladeless domestic fan
which expels 15 times the air intake - New Technology.
Next project- a small EDF version?

Ray's retract           Ray's radial
Remembering our friend and well known model engineer,
The Ray Slack Memorial Shield is to be annually presented to the member
of Cheshire Falcons MFC who has made a valued contribution to the club.
Above you can see Ray's intricate Grumann F8F Bearcat retract, matching the full scale geometry
and his 5 cylinder glow radial powering a large model Skyraider.

And the recipient this year, in recognition of his unstinting work as 'groundsman', is
Phil McEvoy.
With grateful thanks from each & every club member Phil.

To fly or not to fly, that is the question?

We thought we might set up a

but finally decided to leave it to the experts.
