Ron Whitmill (ronaldwhitmill@hotmail.com) on Tuesday, April 13,
2004 at 13:08:08 - model: MK1 - hubdate: N/A - framenumber: 1197***
- wherenumber: dropout - colour: Horizon Blue - location: London
UK - Description: Just taken delivery of this frame + forks only
project. Purchased from e bay, Needs Major structural work to frame
including top tubes re welding to sissy bar tubes, rear brake bridge
rewelding into position, a major dent to the underside of the lower
main tube needs rectifying, and the bottom bracket lockring has
been welded to the bottom bracket so requires grinding and removing.
Stand toblerone has also been tack welded into position which requires
removal. Forks have been hammered near flat on the top edges, so
are of no use whatsoever. Other areas of frame also have "minor"
dents to them. - comments: Bigger project than first hoped for,
but the bonus to it all is that it IS NOT a cross over model but
a "Pure" MK1.
