Up
the Maggies footnote:
Stickers and paper hats promoting Apollo's "County Cola"
were handed out to supporters in the stands before kick-off, the drink
had been on general sale across Nottingham since the beginning of April
and Notts received 1p for every can sold. This was the first time I ever
left Meadow Lane feeling absolutely gutted, Luton equalised with virtually
the last kick of the game thanks to Mal Donaghy from a free-kick (he went
on to play for Man Utd, team mate Paul Walsh later moved to Liverpool).
Notts remained 9 points clear of the drop with 8 games remaining.
