the Maggies footnote:
A bullet header from Justin Fashanu at the Kop end in
the 2nd half was worthy of winning any match, it was probably Fashanu's
best ever moment at Meadow Lane - a real pity that no TV/video camera was
there to capture it. I also have a memory of an Arsenal defender committing
a blatant professional foul as a Notts striker broke clear, but the ref
failed to send him off. A very satisfying win (Notts had also beaten the
Gunners at Meadow Lane the previous season).
