Season 1965/66
TWW (Television Wales and West) and its' sister station Teledu Cymru (the Welsh service) had done a deal with the FA allowing them to show highlights of FA Cup matches on Sunday afternoons, these were billed as "FA Cup Special" and were introduced by Hugh Johns (though curiously, he didn't commentate). There were three TWW commentators; Peter Lloyd (former host of children's show 'Seeing Sport' and general ITV sportscaster), Max Rawlings (former BBC radio commentator in early 1960's) and Norman Rees (possibly the same Norman Rees who later reported for ITN).
