George Blundell Longstaff, in his book, "The Langstaffs of Teesdale and Weardale," gives the opinion that John Langstaff, husband of Christian Sayre, (Sayer) was descended from a branch of the Langstaff's of Kelton.
The facts are not yet certified but if the author was correct, it appears he is John Langstaff, son of John and Margaret of Kelton.
John and his sister Elizabeth were baptised on the same day, making it possible that he is her twin.
Twin girls were born to his son Jonathan by his wife, Mary Herd.

At 9pm on the evening of August 23rd 1975, alone, in an empty ward, he died. No one heard his screams!
