One of the really exciting potentials of 3D is for animation. These images show the first stages of an animated short in colaboration with writer/ illustrator Dave Hallewell. The piece is a humourous sketch designed to challenge Daniel's developing skills both for narrative story telling and for technical 3D animation.

This project (running time 2½ mins) has involved landscaping and constructing objects directly from references. Atmospheric lighting, volumetric fog and water have been used to challenge the artistic collaboration. Daniel is now looking for a team to work with to build further on his skills. Dan is anticipating that the 3D work he has begun to do will feature heavily in future free lance work as well as in personal projects.
