This collection of abstract work is fluid in nature created during Tim's early struggle to control and understand his OCD.
When Tim began painting it was as a distraction to focus his attention from the intrusive thoughts many OCD suffers experience. His art developed out of a cathartic drive rather than an artistic vision. The creative motivation behind his early work is hard for Tim to quantify. He just did it.

During the 5yr period that it is estimated Tim explored these fluid images he took steps to move forward with his live and moved out of the family home and in with his sister. This was a turbulent and engaging episode for Tim. But OCD continued to be at the for front of his conscienceness. But he continued to paint.

Tim's body of work can be seen to have themes or elements which seem to occupy the central content to several sets of paintings. On reflection Tim has no recollection regarding the order these painting were created. So it is by these similar elemental themes that his early work is being classified.
