Their son, ICHABOD CARMICHAEL (b. in Scotland before 1745, married 28 March 1765 in Morristown, NJ to Phebe Clark) is my grt.grt.grt.grt.grt. grandfather. I surely would like to hear more about our Scotland roots - or ANY info you have!

MARTIN jnr,has 4 sons,Thomas,10, Lewis,8 Harry,5&Euan,3.Martin is my older brother, born,15/06/58.His wife is Sharon Andrew,my younger brother,was born 26/01/63,his wifes name is Denine.They have 3 daughters, Emmie,9,Brogan,7&Orrion,2 My wife is Francine,we have 2 sons,JAMIE,7, and CONNOR,5,and one more due late april 2002. My father John Leslie Carmichael died just over 10 years ago. He was originally from Perth, Scotland born 2nd May 1939. Son of John "Jack" & Kathleen One of 5 children. I only have regular contact with his younger brother Colin who has helped point me in the right direction. This is my starting point I have little else to go on so far but will use the links and advice found here. Their daughter, Margrate Carmichael, married John Donaldson, at North Leith, Midlothian (now part of Edinburgh) in 1800. Would appreciate any connection anyone might suggest. Is there a chance of finding a birth records for any of these people?

Virginia and Martha Long,b. before 1780 in NC, Starling's parent were Achibald Carmichael b.Sept 4, 1754 in Lanark Scotland, and Elizabeth Nix b. 1755 Scotland.
