Achillis married Elizabeth Dove abt 1871. Otto was the 2nd son 1876 Elizabeth died 1876. Achillis remarried. My roots Archibald Carmichael Stokes Co.N.C. served in Rev, War. Son Archibald moved to Monroe Co. In. then to Nodaway co. Mo. where my grandfather was born 3/17/1876. I find no record of the marriage or Elizabeth death. Thanks for any help Lois

She was believed to have had a sister Lizzy who lived in America and married a Chris Christensen or Christenssen. Her father was John Carmichael and mother was Sarah Miller. John and Sarah also had Margaret Carmichael and William Carmichael. They were from County Tyrone, Ireland. Any information anyone has would be much appreciated.

He married my mother Joan Elinor Marjorie Garratt but left her during the war. I believe he married someone else and had 2 daughters. Ithink he died in the 1970s. I was just trying to sort out the missing links in the family history etc and should be grateful for any help.

I think my Carmichaels and Crawfords were found under a cabbage leaf or dropped pff by an alien Space ship. I Thought there may be a Rev. Hugh Carmichael from GA & AL listed but he wasn't there either. I know he exist as there are public records. Keep adding to your Carmichaels and maybe one day they will all come together.

Mary Died then he married Mariam Babcock Reynolds and had six offspring. Isaac was born in Henry Co. Illinois, died in Jefferson, Iowa. My grandmother, Laura Mae Charmichael Leeper was born April 30,1900 and died June of 1986 in guthrie Center, Iowa. I have names of all of Isaac's children with birth dates for most, some spouses names. I need information on Isaac's parents. Don't know where to go.

The family story says Margaret's mother was born Lady T(h)ompson who fell in love with the working hand, John Camichael in Ireland/ Scotrland .They took the hardest route, and emigrated. There is a record of John Carmichael and Helen Thompson married July 11, 1834 .St. Andrews East, Argenteuil, Quebec.
