Shackerstone Family Festival is situated close to the Leicestershire, Warwickshire border. It offers a two days of events on the first weekend of September. In previous years the main arena has been home to many different displays throughout the weekend; Marching bands, historical battle reenactments, stunt men, vehicle parades, parachutists, aerobatic aircraft displays. There is a selection of vintage canal barges on display and traction engines, and of course the is also the opportunity to ride on the railway during the day. There is truly something to appeal to everyone at this event.
