special event? The Battlefield Line Railway can offer a number
of venues with a unique atmosphere.
The Battlefield line has been host to a number of private,
public and corporate events over the years. Examples of previous uses include birthday
parties, wedding receptions, disco's, fancy dress parties, demonstration freight trains.
Trade promotions like Red or Dead, Citroen UK driving days and television programmes such
as Rosie and Jim, Heart of the Country and BBC TV's Backup and Battlefield Walks.
It is possible to hire anything from a single carriage to a
whole train. So, if you are looking for an unusual location for that special occasion make
tracks to Shackerstone Station and we will put you on the right line, the Battlefield
Line!
We can cater for most tastes and give an experience that is
hard to match and is even harder to forget.
Trains will vary in make up and price. You can choose from
a simple Diesel Multiple Unit to a full length Train, which can be hauled either by a
Steam or Diesel locomotive for as many trips along the line as you wish.
