Master Current Events Bloom Master
participated for the very first time, in the UK’s premier ‘ornamental
horticultural exhibition’ held at the ‘Four Oaks Trade Show’ in Cheshire
on the 2nd & 3rd September.
This late summer show was attended by a large number of visitors,
covering both trade and the general public. A large variety of products and plants were on display and the Bloom Master stand attracted a greater number of interested visitors than we had expected. By the end of the show it became clear that we have a definite niche for Bloom Master baskets and planters, together with our ancillary products like mounting brackets and ‘Platinum’ fertiliser. Visitors
to the stand included prospects from Finland, Holland, Germany, the Irish
Republic, Northern Ireland and even as far away as South Africa. Contacts were
established with suppliers of composts containing added nutrients to optimise
the flowering performance of our baskets and planters and interestingly, also
with a plant specialist who has developed a new variety of Lobelia, able to
withstand hot conditions and flower throughout the summer. We
regard our first trade show as very successful to the extent that we are already
planning to attend the ‘Four Oaks Trade Show’ in 2004.
