Stewart played with Morton for
a loan spell during the 2001/02 season, playing seventeen
games before injury. During this time he showed himself
to be an accomplished defender but Livingston were
unwilling to sell him to Morton. The player later
moved to Forfar where he impressed.
Stewart returned to the club at
the start of June 03 and will definately be an asset
to the already well equipped Cappielow defence.
