Marco, was signed in the 01/02
season and established himself as a permanent midfielder
in the team. The 02/03 season saw Marco increase in
stature perhaps aided by the introduction of his brother
John who joined the club at the start of the 02/03
season. This may have seen him relax into life away
from home and positively affected his play.
While John is seen by many as the
brother who is the more skillful Marco will provide
the grit and determination and never shirks from a
tackle. Thats not to say though that he doesn't possess
the skill needed as well though and can open play
up with passes also.
