Forfar are another team who were in the
second division during our spell there a few years back.
Finishing fourth this time only four points behind the second
promotion place.
Their top scorers last term were Bavidge
and Paul Tosh who scored 19 and 18 goals respectively.
Stadium
The ground is mostly terracing with a
small stand which takes up half along one side of the pitch.
A covered terrace covers the length of the opposite site
of the pitch. Behind both goals is uncovered terracing.
Away fans are placed in the uncovered west terracing ,the
covered south terracing and part of the stand.

Branch left at Junction 9 on the M80, signed Stirling, to

Continue until junction and take the third exit, signed
Perth to join the A9.
Continue until Broxden Roundabout and take the third exit
(signposted Edinburgh, Dundee) to join the M90.
At junction 10 of the M90 Branch left (signposted Dundee).
Continue forward and M90 becomes the A90, continue on the
A90.
Continue forward until Junction with A932, Turn right onto
the A932 (signposted Forfar).
By Train: Nearest stations are Dundee
and Arbroath which are both 14 miles away.
Parking: Limited parking at ground. Park
at Market Muir car park and adjacent streets.
Where to have a drink
The nearest bar is in the Commercial
Hotel, 5 minutes from the ground.

Forfer is famous for its bridies and
as you can expect they are on sale in the ground as well
as in many local eateries.
