To fix any error messages relating to files not found or registered after installing my programs, please close the program and run this file to register the missing dll's and ocx files. This problem if encountered is a bug between vista and my instal scripts. Download this link to fix Sometimes the user account control in Vista will prevent .ocx and dll files from installing and registering. Vista security is notorious for being over the top on home user systems. These security measures prevent programs created in visual basic from running properly. Microsoft claim that if this file is run before installing visual basic 6 programs, the programs will run ok after, but they insist this file must be run first. The current version of Vista Restore is already programmed to install the Microsoft fix first.
The programs do work on this computer! I have include this download. Download Regocx32.exe and this one for Visual Basic 8 Express and others on a iso file
