Venus transit 8th June 2004. These images were taken with a Philps ToUcam 740K attached to a 135mm lens and a X 2 teleconverter giving a 270mm focal length. |

30 June 05 I was able to see and image Venus and Mercury tonight but Saturn was not visible. I used my ToUcam 740K and a 135 mm lens set at f/16 with a X2 teleconverter. The skies were very misty so were very redish orange in colour which I think transfered to Mercury. Top image is after a tweak or two in Gimp (graphics package) bottom image is the before. |
