Methodist Church, Wareham.
 

The land and buildings of 2 and 3 North Street were bought on the 7th of May 1896 for the princely sum of £420. It was on this site that the church was built. It was desinged by London architect Mr C Bell. The builders were Messrs Burt and Vick of Poole and the buildilng works cost £1,620. The mayor of Wareham, Mr C D Chambers, precided over the official stone laying ceremony on the 10th of June 1896. By mid November the church was completed. It seats 350 . In 1970 it was reconstructed with the frontage being totally rebuilt at a cost of £17,000.
