McLean’s Melodor Free Us From Evil. Had good ring presence. Presented a balanced profile. Another of good breed type having nothing exaggerated. Coat presented in great condition. Markings clear and colour well defined. Good head piece having correct dentition, clean jaw, straight muzzle with good depth. Defined stop, clear furrow, broad skull and cheeks well developed. Dark eyes moderately set with tight rims. Ears carried in line with the crest of neck and forward over her eyes to create the necessary expression. Moderate lay of shoulder, well boned forelegs, elbows tight to body. Pleasing forechest and level back. Angulation correct front and rear. Good tail carriage. Moved out well using a moderate stride.
Gracie made her debut in real style at The Akita Club of Scotland on 20th March 2005. After winning Minor Puppy Bitch she then went on to take Best Bitch beating numerous champions including the No.1 Akita Bitch in the UK 2004 at only 6 months old. Gracie then took Res. Best in Show & Best Puppy in Show. Many thanks to judge Sue Dykes (Kashi) for this memorable day.
At Welks Ch. Show Gracie won the Utility/Hound Bitch Puppy Stakes under top allrounder
Mr. Albert Wight.
Gracie was Best Puppy in Breed at Border Union under Mrs Carol Harwood.
Also making his winning debut in Belgium owned by Nancy Daponte was Gracie's
