Scotland, Venus wins another

BEST IN SHOW

at the Scottish Utility Breeds on 12th April 2003

Venus won her Champion title at Driffield Championship Show on 13/10/02 under breed specialist Mrs. A. Rickard winning the CC & Best of Breed and Group 4 under top allrounder Mrs. Marion Spavin.

Our appreciation also to breed specialist Mr. Andy Clark (Anshee) for Venus' 1st CC and to breed specialist Mrs. Liz Dunhill (Vormund) for that all important 2nd CC & Best of Breed. Many thanks also to top allrounder Miss. C. Harwood for Venus' Group 2 win.

Special thanks to Dave Osborn for sending us such a superb bitch not forgetting Mrs. Kit Brillinger for breeding Venus.

Venus is everything we were looking for in a show bitch. She came to the UK from the USA and on her release from quarantine made her debut at the Akita Club of Scotland where she won Best In Show. Venus has been consistently winning at Championship Shows, including Crufts, and already has a reserve CC to her credit. 

Venus is a large powerful yet feminine show girl that excels in ring presence. She has a beautiful typey headpiece and small thick well carried ears. She has excellent construction and sound powerful movement. She has the most wonderful temperament and it shows. Venus is from  a gene pool that has produced type and soundness time after time. 

Venus will play a big part in our future breeding plans, as combined with her size and new gene pool which she offers, the future is looking bright!

"Buckridge American Dream Regalia: What an absolute stunner, 11 months old and epitomizing all the attributes one looks for in a quality bitch. Scissor bite, dark eye, good tight almond shaped eye rims, small ears, all adding to the most welcoming and sweetest of expressions, with a temperament to match. Excellent bone, good size, cat like feet, super width of chest, correct coat of undercoat, outer coat, and guard hairs, in profile excellent neck flowing into a good top line with shoulders and rear of correct angles, with well let down hocks, moved soundly coming and going, with a positive flowing side gait. Upon being informed that she was an import, all admiration must go to her American breeder for sending such a quality baby to her English owner. Wish her all the best for the future. Best Bitch.
