What we have done

We have been fortunate that several companies in Grimsby have given us donations. This has helped us provide the following:

1. We have given the hospital a dolls Moses basket, a set of scales, a new camera and a local lady knitted some dolls clothes for us to give as well. For those women who have a later miscarriage it means the baby can be dressed and put in the basket and treated like a baby. The hospital can also takes photos of your baby.

2. We have also organised a fold up bed for fathers to use enabling them to stay with their partners.

3. Many of us have found ourselves in distressing situations when we are pregnant again after a miscarriage. Sometimes the medical profession are too busy to read your notes properly and ask insensitive questions such as ' Is this your first pregnancy?' or ' Why are you having this early scan?' It was felt a simple sticker could be provided that when attached to the front page of your notes, would clearly indicate you had suffered a previous pregnancy loss. These stickers are now available. They are however pink and not yellow as shown in the Telegraph article.
