Rescued from pitiful conditions - in a dark corner of an Early Learning Centre with no water - two rare ducks are now in the very best of care. It is hoped that these ducks will form the nucleus of a viable breeding colony.

Every effort is being made to further this aim. Colin has them under close personal supervision whilst still maintaining as near possible - natural conditions. As can be seen from the photo, Colin has blended into their environment to the point where the ducks are not disturbed by his presence. 

An appeal has been launched t0 provide state of the art accommodation. This will replace the present thirty year old quarters they are forced to inhabit now. To date this programme has not been an instant success!
