CHRIS FOSTER Short Bio
Although puppetry is a new venture for me, I have been involved with the performing arts in one medium or another for the last 30 years. This includes youth theatre, cabaret, the formation of my own theatre company, mainstream theatre work, stand-up comedy, street theatre and more recently, comedy writing.
A chance encounter with the artistic director of a London drama school led to me seeking professional drama training. I then used my acting diploma from London to secure a place for myself at university in order to study community drama. My interest in puppetry grew from these studies and has taken over my life (in the way that things have a habit of doing!)

In the hands of an artist, the power of puppetry to entertain is breathtaking. When that artist is also a teacher or clinician, the power of puppetry to educate and heal is boundless.
