Can I visit?
Yes. It is essential that you do in order to enrol for classes and to be sure
you like the classes. Please come & visit as often as possible before your next course starts.
Should I bring my dog/puppy?
Yes, some dogs react badly at first so by bringing them with you when visiting it gives them the chance to get the initial nerves out of the way.
How do I join & enrol?
Come along and visit the classes any Monday or Wednesday when the classes are running between 7:00pm and 9:00 pm. If you check the course dates page you will see the specific dates & times when I shall be there teaching. When you come I can then take your details and put them on the waiting list for the next available course. You will also be required to pay a Ģ10 deposit. When you start a course this will be deducted from your course fee. If you do not start a course this will be an admin fee.
Do I have to pay to watch?
No.
When can my puppy or dog come to classes?
I am happy for puppies & dogs to attend once you and your vet are happy for them to mix freely with other dogs. You should bring them with you when you come & visit.
Can my son/daughter train the dog?
Yes, providing they are aged 12 or over and physically capable of handling the dog.
Can my son/daughter do the course for the Skill module for the Duke of Edinburgh Award?
Yes.
If I canīt make a class can someone else bring the dog?
No, itīs you I am teaching how to train the dog.
Do you take Work Experience students?
Yes, please contact me to discuss this.
What do I do if my bitch comes into season?
Please leave her at home. You are welcome to come and watch to see what to be practicing at home.
If I decide not to finish the course, will I get a refund?
No, once a course has been started refunds are not possible. This is because it is not possible to fill the place with a new client. Please be advised that the hire cost of the hall is not refundable to me once the course has started.
