Weddings, Funerals and Baptism Services

Weddings:
Weddings may be arranged in consultation with the minister of Otley Methodist Church, Rev. Julian M. Pursehouse. Couples will be expected to attend a number of preparatory meetings in order to plan the details for the day itself and also to reflect upon the significance of Christian marriage. The current fees are £270.

Funerals:
Funerals may be arranged in consultation with the minister of Otley Methodist Church, Rev. Julian M. Pursehouse and the local undertakers. The current fees for a church funeral are £270.

Baptisms:
Infant baptism may be arranged in consultation with the Minister of Otley Methodist Church, Rev. Julian M. Pursehouse. Baptisms will normally take place at an ordinary Sunday morning act of worship at the Church. There are no fees charged for baptism, but parents will be expected to attend a number of preparatory meetings in order to fully prepare for the significance of Christian Baptism.
