Serving the community

We are an active church, with weekly regular events, a busy diary of one-off activities and some notable forthcoming events.

Located in the centre of Otley (details), we provide for all baptisms, wedding and funerals and also offer our facilities for hire.

Otley has a rich history of Methodism, with Methodist meetings from as early as the 1740s.

We are also actively involved in the Christian community in Otley, through Otley Churches Together.

We are currently undertaking a community redevelopment project to the front of the church, to further increase the opportunities to share our church with the town.

We are a witnessing community of Christians seeking to share our faith.

By our worship and work we proclaim the love of Jesus to all people.

For over 250 years the Methodist people have worshipped in the town of Otley, not only worshipping Jesus as God's Son, but also serving our community and encouraging many to accept the Christian faith, and will continue to so.

Today we continue the task of encouraging discipleship. Our mission is to proclaim God's love in word and deed.

It is our hope that we will continue to serve Jesus as his disciples.
