Toddlers
The Toddler group caters for carers of all children under school age with their carers. This group is more for the adults than the children, though there are lots of age related activities for the little ones. So do come along even if your child/ baby normally sleeps during the afternoon, make friends, get support from others, especially if you’re new to parenting. It’s not just parents who come to the group there are grandparents, nannies & childminder as well.
Everyone welcome, hot & cold drinks available (babies make their own arrangements!)
Pre-school
The pre-school is for children aged two years to reception class (around 4 years old), we are open 9am to 12 noon Monday to Friday term time only.
Children in the term after their third birthday are entitled to 15 hours free early years education. The group is very well established having started in the 1970’s, we are Ofsted inspected and approved. The staff are qualified & experienced in all aspects of childcare and education.
We pride ourselves in being a good quality setting to give children a good start, our ratio’s are: 1 to 4 for children up to age three years, and 1 to 8 for children over three years of age (this compares to 1 to 13 in state run settings).
