The Wizards' Isle

The Wizards' Isle is a website which is dedicated to the original Warlords scenario known as Illuria. When Warlords was first released in 1990 it was the mythical land of Illuria where eight different races fought for supremacy. Illuria reappeared in the popular Warlords 3 series of which Darklords Rising is now played universally online.

When I participated in a PBEM game of Illuria it became clear that the original sides are unbalanced. As a result I decided to put it upon myself to hopefully improve Illuria by balancing the sides while keeping their original characteristics.

In 2006 a band of eight intrepid warlords set out to play version 1 of the altered scenario. Although version 1 is a great improvement on the original Illuria there is still lots of potential to make this scenario even better. Therefore I have included a forum on this site where visitors can leave their suggestions on how Illuria can be improved.

There is also a downloads page on this site where the altered Illuria scenario and associated documents can be found. I hope you enjoy my attempts to make Illuria a better place to live!
