SS CIRCASSIA

The Wiggins family, an Anglo Indian family lived for four generations in Coimbatore,Tamil Nadu, India. This is a city known as the Manchester of South India due to the cotton mills and textiles.

One sunny day in September 1964 my family disembarked the ss Circassia at Liverpool to start a new life in Manchester. This website is in honour of my Anglo Indian ancestors and to keep their history alive.
