The Freshman
Trying to adjust to the rigors of college life proves to be harder than Buffy imagined. She moves into a dorm, must contend with a less-than-stable roommate and the complexities of dating college men. On campus, Willow is overly enthused about college life and her ongoing romance with Oz, and Xander unexpectedly returns from his self-discovery adventure. Elsewhere, Giles seems to be enjoying his life away from being a librarian and a Watcher.
Living Conditions
Dorm
life proves to be quite an adjustment for Buffy when her roommate drives her
crazy with her idiosyncrasies even invading Buffy¹s dreams and the gang must
come together to find away to get her to move out. Away from the dorm, Buffy
meets Parker Finch, a handsome older classman who is the first guy Buffy has
been attracted to since her break-up with Angel.
The Harsh Light of Day
Spike visits UC Sunnydale, looking for a mystical gem that will allow him to walk in the sunlight and be impervious to stakes and crosses. Meanwhile, Buffy has romance on her mind when an upperclassman, Parker Finch, shows an interest.
Fear, Itself
Buffy and the gang find themselves in a haunted house on Halloween when they go to a frat party that has an uninvited guest---a powerful fear demon. The evil power traps the partygoers inside and forces them to face their worst fears: Xander becomes invisible; Willow can't control her magic; Oz succumbs to his werewolf nature.
Beer Bad
Buffy
is introduced to the wonders of beer by some upperclassmen who are unaware that
their favorite brand of brew has a slightly demonic kick to it, which causes
more than just a hangover.
Wild at Heart
Willow
is faced with serious competition for Oz's affections---a sultry singer named
Veruca. Despite reassuring Willow, Oz finds his interest is deeper than
even he suspects and traces his compulsion to a common trait that could spell
the end of his relationship with Willow.
The Initiative
The
agenda of the black-masked commandos is revealed after they ensnare the baddest
vamp of them all...Spike---who blames the Slayer for his capture and escapes to
hunt her down. Meanwhile, Riley tries to put the moves on Buffy.
Pangs
A
Chumash Indian spirit named Hus is freed on Thanksgiving by a construction crew
and goes forth to seek revenge on Sunnydale for past wrongs against his people.
Meanwhile, Angel secretly slips into town to keep a watchful eye on Buffy after
his friend Doyle has a vision that she may be in danger.
Something Blue
Willow, still heartbroken after Oz' departure, casts a spell to make her wishes come true. But she can't control it, so whatever she casually says becomes reality, causing Giles to go blind when she tells him he "can't see anything." She also turns Xander into a "demon magnate."
Hush
Sunnydale is silenced when mysterious entities from a children's tale, known as "The Gentlemen," steal everyone's voices in order to harvest organs from the populace. Despite being unable to hear the silent cries of those in trouble, Buffy must stop the slaughter by finding alternate ways to communicate with Giles about the dangerous beings. "
Doomed
While
Buffy and Riley grapple to come to terms with what they now know about each
other, the reopening of the Sunnydale Hellmouth sends Buffy and the gang back to
high school to prevent impending apocalypse. Meanwhile, Spike has lost all will
to live without the ability to kill, but he grows heartened by the approaching
end of the world.
A New Man
Disheartened
after learning that Buffy has been keeping secrets from him, Giles goes out
drinking with former friend (and evil magician) Ethan. But Giles wakes up with
more than a hangover: he's been transformed into a demon. Unable to speak
English and utterly unrecognizable, he must find a cure before Buffy kills him.
The "I" in Team
Buffy's
relationship with Riley allows her almost total access to the Initiative. But
the more she sees, the more questions she has about their operation and the
motives of Maggie Walsh. Meanwhile, Willow feels she's been abandoned by Xander
and Buffy because they both have significant others.
Goodbye Iowa
Prof. Walsh's monstrous creation, Adam, escapes from the Initiative compound and sets off to wreak havoc on Sunnydale. Meanwhile, Riley is breaking down, both physically and mentally, and no one seems to know why.
This Year's Girl
It's double trouble for Buffy---the rogue slayer, Faith, has awakened from an eight-month coma, and Adam, the Initiative's creation, is still on the loose. Faith, with a little help from the late Mayor, has sinister plans in store for Buffy.
Who Are You
Buffy
battles to escape the clutches of the Watcher's Council special operation team,
who plan to send her to England, while Faith continues to wreak havoc in the
lives of Buffy's family and friends. Meanwhile, it's Willow and Tara who figure
out Buffy's whereabouts, but not before Faith has done some serious damage to
Buffy's relationship with Riley.
Superstar
A high school loser, Jonathan, becomes the most popular person on earth. He's successful at everything, including demon-slaying.
Where the Wild Things Are
Riley's frat house is possessed by a demonic force that feeds on the passion generated between him and Buffy, and traps them without their knowledge. The couple are too lost in the haze of their heightened emotions to notice the danger they're in.
New Moon Rising
After a long absence, Oz returns to Sunnydale--his werewolf nature apparently under control---hoping to reunite with Willow. She, on the other hand, is unsure about getting back together since her relationship with Tara has deepened.
The Yoko Factor
The
key to the demon-cyborg's plan for humanity's demise is to make Buffy vulnerable
by separating Buffy from the 'Scooby gang'--her safety net of friends. He joins
forces with Spike who invents a scheme to play the pal's insecurities against
one another. In Return, Adam promises to remove the anti-violence chip from
Spike's brain. Also, Angel returns to Sunnydale to offer his aid, and is
confronted by Buffy's new love, Riley.
Primeval
it's
the final showdown on several fronts as Buffy faces Adam, the Initiative battles
its demon ex-prisoners and Buffy's friends must overcome their fears and once
again work together as a team as all hell breaks loose below Sunnydale.
Restless
Buffy and the gang find themselves being stalked by a primal animal force, known as the Primitive, that attacks each of them in their nightmares and forces them to face disturbing aspects of themselves.
