Two hour series premier- Buffy Summers and her mum move to Sunnydale, California
form LA for a fresh start. At her new school Buffy meets her new watcher the school Liberian called Giles. She makes friends with two other students Willow and Xander who find out that she is the slayer. Together they fight the forces of darkness.
The Witch
Buffy and her friends investigate when cheerleaders spontaneously combust, lose their eyes sight and speech. Soon they discover a witch is behind it and set out to stop her.
They discover that student Amy is the witch, but that Amy has swapped bodies with her mother and the mother is the really witch behind it all.
Teachers Pet
The new substitute teacher takes a liking to Xander, but little does he know that it's a Praying Mantis who wants to mate with him, but Buffy shows up just in time to rescue him and kill the Praying Mantis.
Never Kill A Boy On The First Date
Buffy goes out on date against Giles wishes who says their is an ancient vampire prophecy that she has to stop. While Buffy is on her date the Master brings forth the Anointed one to help kill the slayer.
The pack
The school go on a trip to the zoo Xander is possessed by a hyena with some other students. Buffy, Willow and Giles have to get Xander before the zoo keepers completes his plan which is to absorb all the hyena spirits himself.
Angel
The master summons warrior vampires to kill the slayer. Buffy also meets Angels sire, Darla who wants to kill Buffy and turn Angel evil again. Angel kills Darla before she has a chance to kill Buffy. Angel and Buffy agree that they can't have a relationship and they kiss and say goodbye.
I, Robot - You, Jane
Willow accidentally scans a demon into the computer who she falls for after talking to him online, but she thinks he just a normal guy. Xander, Buffy and Giles have to stop the demon by getting him out of the computer before he kills willow. Giles also discovers the schools computer teacher is a gypsy.
The Puppet Show
The Principle puts Giles in charge of the fashion show and orders Willow, Xander and Buffy to perform. Buffy also has to stop someone who is stealing human organs. Buffy is convinced that the killer is a ventriloquist dummy after she catches him sneaking in her room.
Nightmares
In Sunnydale everyone's nightmares are coming true including Buffy's. Giles is unable to read and Xander comes to school in his underwear. Buffy must what is happening before it's to late.
Out of Mind, Out of Sight
Cordelia is targeting by an girl who she and her friends used to ignore and is now invisible. She and Buffy have to work together to stop her before she kills them both. Angel comes to Giles to tell him that Buffy could be in danger.
Prophecy Girl
Giles discover an ancient prophecy that tells of the death of the slayer. The Master opens the Hellmouth and the slayerettes have to battle the demons. The master kills Buffy who is brought back to life by Xander. She then goes and kills the Master and stops the Hellmouth.
