  • Upcoming Shows
    Thanks to everyone who came to our recent gigs, including our first UK Tour taking in Manchester, Birmingham and London, our support slots with The Kooks and The Wedding Present and our own headline show in Auntie Annies in Belfast. We have more dates coming up soon, including :

  • We have now have a page on MySpace, where you can stream some tunes, leave comments and random messages and also post up images of you showing your cleavage or looking as 'emo' as it humanly possible. Just click on the 'MySpace' picture to visit our page www.myspace.com/thebetesnoires
  • New CD Recorded
    We returned to the studio in March to record some new material, these tracks can be heard on our MySpace page. There's also a link on the MySpace page were you can buy the new CD for £2.99 including postage. We have started working on a video for one of the tracks, full details will be available soon.
  • Compilation Album out now!
    We also have three tracks included on a compilation album that was released by London and Manchester based label Parlour 9 on 27th March, the three tracks were recorded over the summer in London. The CD will be available throughout the UK in HMV stores and available in all good independent shops - distribution is through Cargo UK. You can buy it online from their website www.cargorecords.co.uk , and we have copies available for sale at gigs.
  • Air play / Compilation CDs
    Numerous Betes Noires tracks have been getting airplay on stations both locally and further afield. Indie legend Steve Lamacq played us on his Radio 6 show (details here) and tracks have been played on Radio 1, XFM (London), Virgin Radio Xtreme (London), 2 FM (Ireland). BBC Radio Ulster's 'Across The Line' show , Downtown Radio, Storm Rock Revolution Radio (UK), Near FM (Dublin), Today Fm (Dublin), Beat 102-103FM (Waterford), Juice107.2 (Brighton) and as far afield as RCS FM 107.2 in Spain.
    Local radio show 'Across The Line', featured on BBC Radio Ulster featured a profile of the band, which is now available to listen to online in Realplayer format - see HERE to listen to it.
