Revd Jenny Few has been our minister since July 2005.
Jenny grew up in Nottingham, and Cornwall, but she and her husband Robert count themselves true midlanders, as they have lived in 3 counties during their married life. In the 1970s they were both teachers, living in Blaby, Leicestershire. They then moved to Wirksworth, Derbyshire, where their three children grew up. During this time Jenny trained at Northern Baptist College in Manchester, and following ordination, became the minister of Attleborough Baptist Church in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
And now back to Leicester!
Jenny’s passion for the church is that it should be an attractive, vibrant, worshipping community of Christian people, whose faith makes a real difference to how they live every aspect of their lives.
She is actively involved in the life of the Baptist Union, serving on Council since 1995, and is currently moderator of the Nominations Committee.
In her spare time she enjoys watching sport, gardening, walking, listening to music, reading and watching The West Wing on DVD. Oh - and visiting friends and family.
