I went to the concert with my friend Hannah -who comes to every concert with me!!
Zoë opened the concert for the lads, she was dressed in a sparkly red crop top and flared trousers. She was joined on stage by two female backing dancers. She sang lots of songs including her single (that will be released next year) called "Treat me Like A Lady". She also sang "Say A Little Prayer" and "Move Closer".
At the end of her performance she said that we can go and buy any merchindice and be back in 20 minutes.
Unfortunaly no-one was interested in Zoë you could tell as not many people screamed for her

Gareths name lit up onstage Gareth came on after a 20 minute break interval.
A film of Gareth in a high speed journey to get to the venue in time for his performance was being counted down by a digital clock.
Gareth came on stage dressed in a brown leather biker jacket with his name glittering on the back, with a black shirt, ripped jeans and black boots.
Our hero’s caged in, surrounded by screaming fans, as well as being deafened fans around us. In a bid to escape from his fans in the cage he does a summersault over the cages and onto the stage
gareth with cages in the background Gareth as Elvis The band strike up the first track "The way you make me feel" which was originally sung by Michael Jackson.
He then sung "Sentimental" which got Gareth dancing around on stage, which was followed by the intro of "Suspicious Minds" when the music is stopped by Gareth's mobile phone ringing.
It's his mum! He tells her in front of all of us that he'll call her back later. And then he starts texting the audience which appears on the screens.
Then Gareth sings "What My Heart Wants To Say" and then "Anyone Of Us" which we sang to, with him.
He then takes to the piano to perform "Yesterday" and "That’s When You Know"
We then sing along to "Unchained Melody"
He then appears with some signs that Say "NO" (next sign) "Self" (next sign) "Control"
He then get us to say it with him, so we kept saying "No Self Control" and then the song started and every time it come to those word we had to say them.
Then Gareth disappears from the stage and then comes back to treat us with an all Elvis performance including "Suspicious Minds"
He then leaves the show with Fire sparks

A dark stage with a band start up with the intro of "Ain't No Sunshine" with four backing singers taking their places along the front of the stage, we can hear Will's voice but can't see him.
The he pops up from the stage and completes a version of one of his favourite songs.
Will has a new hairstyle of a mohican-ish hairstyle with blond in it.
Will is dressed in a cool white jacket, paint splattered jeans, black T-shirt and a pair of white trainers.
The cages have gone from Gareth's set only to be replaced by a multi-coloured background, as the rest of the stage lights up, Will launches into "I Get The Sweatest Feeling" with Confetti falling from the ceiling. He then sings "Don't Let me Down"
Will and Gareth singing Long and Winding Road will singing Evergreen He then disappears and reappears on the balcony at the top of the stage looking very trendy in black trouser and a cheeky black vest with zips up the side. He's then joined by Zoë Birkett for a duet of "Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing", then he sung "Signed Sealed, Delivered. Then he did another two tracks off of his album and then sings "Light My Fire" with specially effects of flames on the screen and real flames on stage.
Then Will, from the ceiling to the middle of the arena (and to just where we were sitting) emerges a long walkway to the middle of the arena in a grey suit he starts singing "Evergreen" and makes his way along the walkway right to the middle of the arena where a much smaller stage awaits him.
But that’s not the end, Will invites Gareth back to perform "The Long And Winding Road" and it wouldn't be the same if there wasn't a performance with Zoë.
Sure enough Zoë walks from the big stage to the middle of the walkway where Gareth and Will took her by the arms, she is wearing a white crop top and a long flowing skirt. and on she comes with a song called "Lets Stay Together" with her two boys.
Then the boys walk with Zoë back to the big stage with lots of sparks.
That’s it it’s over :-(

Paul's autograph Paul We had a brilliant time especially meeting Paul from Pop stars: The Rivals, and getting his autograph (he was there with his family) and then we got the same train home as him (but got off at different places!!)

Also we got Gareth’s dancers autographs, the guys were really nice lads and when they went to go onstage with Gareth, mark patted Hannah on the shoulder and said see you later :-)
Sure enough after the performance they came back past us, So whilst listening and watching Will onstage we were chatting to them and we told them they did a good job. They told us also that near the end we should try and get as close to the little stage so we can get good photos (It didn't matter our seats were near the stage)

Hannah Ch's Review on the concert

As ever Hannah has done a very thorough review of the concert itself, so I will give a more detailed account of the other aspects.

We eventually arrived at London Arena at about 5.30pm, after what seemed like an endless journey on some fairly interesting trains!! The best being the London Docklands Railway where the middle of the train actually moves to fit around the corners.

When we arrived, we went to our seats and were quite impressed as we were reasonably close to the stage, and right by the sound box, where we had been before, at Westlife concerts, and we had good experience of getting autographs.

As we were waiting we saw a group of boys in the aisle right next to us, who looked like a boy band, eventually we got the courage to ask them who they were and they said they were Gareth’s dancers. So we got their autographs and a photo taken, which you can see here:

I liked Mark the best (the one in the white T-shirt) and as they walked past he came up to me and said ‘See you later’ and patted me on the shoulder.
Also one of them (second left) told us to look out for him as he is in a band (he told us the name but we can't remember sorry)

Then the concert started with Zoë, she was good but it was clear that no one had really come to see her.

After a quick break when we saw the dancers again and even got Paul from Pop Star’s autograph, Gareth came on stage. The crowd went wild; this was who we had come to see!! It started by seeing him on the big screen arriving on a motorbike, Gareth needs our help after a count down he came on stage, much to the delight of the fans, (including Hannah and I). Gareth was amazing and his Elvis impression, ‘Yesterday’ and ‘Anyone of Us’ were definite highlights (we even saw the dancers we’d met, dancing behind Gareth, and one of them got the chance to sing on camera.

I thought it was really good the way Gareth got round having to speak too much by using his phone to send the audience text messages over the big screen, as well as having the cards. At one point he got us all joining in with him shouting ‘No Self Control’.

Will on Stage Next came Will who was showing us his new hairstyle, as much as I like Gareth I’m afraid to say that on the night Will was a better performer. Especially ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’ and ‘I Get The Sweetest Feeling’.

Gareth, Zoë and Will At the end Will and Gareth came along a walkway to the stage right by the sound box and us. The dancers had recommended we got as close as possible, and we were pretty close.

They sang ‘Long and Winding Road’ together which was really cool, Zoë joined them and the three sang ‘Lets Stay Together’ together which was really memorable.

After a brilliant night we eventually left to get the train back, as we left we could see all the fans around Paul, I felt a bit guilty, as I’d started this off-oops!!! (We later saw him on our train so he had managed to escape!)

We’d had a great night, and as always had got some autographs and brilliant memories. Congratulations to Will and Gareth (and Zoë) I had a brilliant evening and I don’t care what Pepsi think, Gareth you’re going to keep going for a while yet.

All I can say is, Hannah, where next!!!
