It's about how hard you've got to work with the team to be successful. I've underestimated that. I was young, 19 when I signed the Williams contract, 20 at my debut. Too young actually.

Jens on the question whether F1 is a lonely sport:
It's lonely, but there's not better place to be than inside the car. You're out of the mad world, it's just you and the car. And well, occasionally someone shouts something into your ear, but apart from that it's a peaceful place to be.

Jens on life after F1:
I will never return in F1. That's for sure. I know many people say it, but I won't come back.

You guys at the magazine brought out a series of different outfits for me to wear during the shoot and it was quite amusing because I had to do some flying changes while hiding behind a truck - much to the amusement of the track's workforce!

You know, the wednesday or thrusday before the Oz GP I dreamt of finishing on P6 in the race. On sunday I finished 6th and I was like a kid so happy. I jumped for joy

One day Ralf said this and the other day he said something completely different. It confused me.

Ralf supported me during the debriefs when Trulli complained about me (Spa 2000) I hadn't expected for Ralf to stand up for me, but he did. He is an honest man

During the rare times I do go out with friends, I count the beers I drink. I quit after 2 or 3, as I know it'll be in the tabloids the next day when I do get drunk

Last year he often gave me good advice He didn't have to, but he did. It was Frank who said I had to stay strong and hang in there. He's been a great help that year.

It's like I had expected. There isn't much that surprised me.

Well, it's not really embarrassing, but funny really. When I was on a boat with friends, we passed an old couple on a luxury yacht and we mooned our bums at them.
