TIMPERLEY OLD HALL moated site
STAG have now received the planning permissions needed for the bridge construction and wall repairs. Having notified the lottery heritage office that this is the case and that we have received Trafford M,B,C's contribution to the funding we are now only waiting for the necessary start approval from the LHF.
Trafford are finalising the detailed bridge design and obtaining quotations for this essential feature of the project.
STAG are discussing dates with the JCB operator to try to get the planned damming of the south moat started as soon as the go ahead has been received. We can then get the backfilling started and the excavations of the west end of the old house and the south moat itself can go ahead.
