LEISURE RIDES 2002

The Hertfordshire Wheelers cycling club are promoting another series of LEISURE CYCLE RIDES in country lanes this year. All cyclists are welcome, especially family groups for whom we have shorter rides.

Routes are mostly in traffic-free lanes, but riders must take full responsibility for their own safety and you are expected to obey the Highway Code. If you are inexperienced riders you are advised to ride the shorter routes and in the company of experienced cyclists.

Register on the day by filling out a simple card. Entry fee only £5.00, payable on registration. Children (under 14) FREE, must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The nominated charities benefit after deduction of printing costs etc.

Sponsored riders for charities of their own choice are also encouraged.

Please let the organisers know at registration.

Route descriptions and maps will be freely available on the day. If you require a set before each event, send a stamped self-addressed envelope with the entry fee to Mr J. Pearson
