Why Alvagem?
Our family has its roots in the village of Alva, in Clackmannan District in Scotland. Alva is to east of Stirling in the foothills of the beautiful Ochil Hills. Hence "Alvagem".
The Inmates
Our feline household at the moment consists of three Birmans and the latest inhabitant, an Egyptian Mau.

We aim to breed strong cats of good type which have been well socialised. The process of socialisation made a lot easier by the presence of the three young children in the family !! Our kittens go to pet/show homes but not for breeding.
