Taken in 2000![]() OK, so I don't take the best photograph in the world, but this was a proud day at the Sandtoft Gathering 2000. 619 was passed out for service for the first time in 20 years, and I was shortly to be passed out as an official driver for the first time! |

My trolleybus interests are as follows:
To preserve our trolleybus heritage by restoring trolley vehicles to working condition.
To support museums operating preserved trolleybuses.
To actively support initiatives which would return trolleybus operations to Britain's streets.
To visit and report on operating systems world-wide.
To re-create the operation of trolleys in miniature.
The above interests have led me to become:
Company Secretary for the Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft (see links page).
One of Sandtoft's Electrical Inspectors.
Sandtoft's most frequent trolleybus driver, doing over 200 trolleybus miles per year.
World News Editor for Trolleybus, the Journal of the British Trolleybus Society (BTS).
Member of the Electric Tbus Group (see links page), campaigning for a return of Trolleycoaches in the UK.
