Nick Mounfield (seen here on the right) won the EACF Club Champions Advanced event at Wrest Park finishing the day with 3 wins from 3 games. This is first time for 5 years that a Letchworth player has won this event, the last being Duncan Hector, in 2006. Nick is the second person in the event’s history to win the B-Level Advanced and Advanced events in successive years.

Keith Rhodes was narrowly defeated in the handicap event by Watford’s Geoff Johnson. Keith was one of 4 players to finish with 2 wins from 3 games, but lost out on the basis of quality-of-wins.
