The city is no bigger than an average village but it does contain all the
basic facilities provided by a country town including special small food shops.
There are shops for most requirements, restaurants, pubs, churches etc.
The cathedral and the ruins of the old bishops palace are enjoyable to explore
and can offer music opportunities, especially during Festival weeks.
Artists are never far away. The town has booking offices for boat trips
and outdoor activities. There are many attractive walks from the accommodation.
By using the
local buses
you can start and end cliff walks in many places.
Blue flag beaches are within easy reach.
St. David's Visitor Centre
(100 yards away) is run by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.
Bus
to Haverfordwest and the railway station.
Cycle hire locally.
Within 200 yards you will find a supermarket, delicatessen, newsagent, cashpoint, petrol station, butcher, church, pharmacy, doctor, dentist etc. What other resort can boast of such a full set of essential facilities.
