The Aubrey Batt Run this year was a road run out to the New Forest Owl, Otter and Wildlife Centre nr Southampton on Sunday June 1st. About 16 cars made the journey (14 Minors plus two other classics). Not a bad turn out at all. The weather held out for us and we had a very pleasant stroll round the animal enclosures followed by a spot of lunch in the cafeteria.

Sadly, much of the ‘wildlife’ - having just had lunch - was asleep and owl shots were a bit hampered by the fencing keeping them in. (That’s the excuse I’m going with anyway) - so here are some otters and wild boars which did not escape my attention.

This is a rare sighting of ‘Classicus Enthusiasticus’ with his lesser spotted Morris Minor Convertible. (alias Nick Palmer.)
