In the foreground (covered by a plate) is the double blastpipe. Shortly after this photograph was taken the two blastpipe nozzles were bolted into place. At the top of the photo is the double chimney. The petticoat pipe has now been fitted to the bottom of this casting. The pipe visible in the top right hand corner is the exhaust for the vacuum brake ejectors, the exhaust feeding into a ring of holes cast into the rear chimney. |
